From a size zero to a plus size model – Liza Golden Bhojwani

Liza Golden Bhojwanu is here to give value to the claim that women can be beautiful being a bit on the chubby side as well. This model is out here to claim that it is not necessary to be size zero in the modelling industry.

Liza began the usual route in the modelling career when she was the ideal body type for the ramp. In the international modelling industry, plus size models have managed to niche a market for them but India is still backward in this aspect. Amongst all this, Liza decided that she can be beautiful inspite of having some extra curves on her body. Initially, Liza had the body everybody desired for. She had the best time of her life signing up all the contracts she always dreamt about. She was walking the ramp with models she had been looking up to all this time.

But, the truth of reality hit here when once she fainted in her apartment preparing the low carb meal she was supposed to eat accordingly to her chart. She decided she was done with this diet plan and was going to plan the journey on her own. As she moved on in her diet, the weight began to show on her body. She decided to keep shut. Slowly it started to show in her booking. They dropped down drastically. Liza says ” This was the worst time of my life and I had suddenly begun to doubt myself”. She needed a better diet plan to shed all the extra kilos she had suddenly gained.

She started fighting her own body but realized that she was going the wrong. “I felt deep within that I shouldn’t fight my own body”. That’s when Liza decided to go with her body and adopted that she would enter the plus size modelling industry. She did not know much about it back then but wanted to make it big. Today, she is so proud of herself.

A piece of advice Liza would like to give to all the women out there. ‘Love your own body. Don’t think that you have to be a size zero. What matters is how fit you are and how healthy you eat’. After all, what will the world if all of us are just the same.
