One after another, white fungus a more deadly infection is now on the rise. Are you at risk?

At this time when there are multiple calamities and conditions affecting the country, a new infection has emerged post the fear from black fungus. White fungus, a more deadly infection has started infecting people which is more dangerous and claims to affect more organs than black fungus. Four cases of this infection have been reported in Patna and Bihar. This is a more dangerous infection as it affects the lungs and other parts of the body as well like stomach, kidneys, brain, etc.

The infection is similar to Covid-19 when a test is performed on the infected person. All patients infected by the virus have shown covid like symptoms but have been negative for Covid-19. Using anti-fungal medicines, these infected people have been recovered as well. White fungus is affecting people on oxygen support as well. Cancer patients are at higher risk from this infection. Women and children need to be cautious as well.
It is easily possible to keep oneself free from white fungus infection by sanitising the oxygen cylinder and all other equipment being used. It is very important to be safe during this time when the situation is grim and there is huge risk outside.
