Breaking News- Mumbai on high alert due to rains.
Mumbai witnessed the highest rainfall ever recorded since 2015. The average rainfall recorded today is way more than the entire rainy season has seen. All the suburban areas of Mumbai have seen water logging and all schools and colleges have shut down. Even the offices in Mumbai have declared half day and all the people have started rushing back home.
There are pictures circulating of the flooding situation in Mumbai. The whole of Mumbai is on high alert and all the low lying areas have experienced water logging. The lifeline of Mumbai, the local trains have also stopped operating.
Seems like this situation is going to continue for the next three days considering the downpour Mumbai is experiencing right now. Head home and be safe.
