Riddhima Kapoor is lately in the news after the death of her father, Rishi Kapoor caused her to come in the headlines. Riddhima had to travel all the way from Delhi to Mumbai by road due to the lockdown situation. Riddhima abided by the rules and travelled by road and though she missed physically being present at the funeral of her dad, Rishi Kapoor she was present virtually as Alia Bhatt live-streamed the event for her.
Since Riddhima wasn’t able to attend the event, she went ahead and posted an emotional message for her late father, “Papa I love you I will always love you — RIP my strongest warrior I will miss you everyday I will miss your FaceTime calls everyday,” while sharing a selfie with her father. “I wish I could be there to say goodbye to you ! Until we meet again papa I love you — your Mushk forever,” she concluded the post.
Riddhima Kapoor is a fashion designer and entrepreneur by profession. She currently lives in Delhi currently and is married to Bharat Sahni from 2006. She dated him for 5 years before finally tying the knot with him and has a beautiful daughter as well by the name of Samara Sahni.
Riddhima initially started her career by modelling for a jewellery brand alongside her mother and has also walked the ramp for many famous fashion designers. She has modelled for Suneet Varma, Manav Gangwani,etc. While she was modelling for Notandas, she was inspired by the designs and started designing her own jewellery instead of buying designs from the store.
She launched her own jewellery brand n 2016 called ‘R Jewellery’ with her best friend, Anuj Kapoor of Punjab Jewellers. In 2018, she went ahead and launched her clothing brand called ‘Sam and Friends’ which is named after her daughter, Samara. She has also received a lot of awards and recognition for her work as well as for her designs.
She is a family person and loves yoga and keeps posting photos of her yoga poses on Instagram as well. She received a lot of offers in films but Riddhima refused them as she was interested in being a part of the film industry and acting in movies. She writes for a lot of columns and newspapers as well for Delhities Magazines and others. She is a humble person and definitely an elegant example of making the best out of life.
